Athlete’s foot is defined as a skin ailment, normally occurring between the toes, caused by fungus. Fungushas an affinity for the inside of shoes because of the dark, cozy and humid environment. However, other conditions may imitate athlete’s foot: irregular sweating, reaction to dyes, eczema, psoriasis, and adhesives in shoes.

Blisters can result in cracked skin, pain, swelling, itching, and burning sensations. Athlete’s foot is not just limited to the feet. It may spread to the soles of the feet, and also the groin and underarm areas.
